Many of them immediately began asking questions about the different engineering fields and making connections to things they see every day, like bridges, apps, and machines.\r\n\r\nUsing the new resources, students explored careers in mechanical, software, civil, and hydraulics engineering. Each hands-on activity gave them a real-world connection to how engineers design, build, and solve problems. For example, while working with the hydraulics kit, students were amazed to see how fluid power could lift and move objects, sparking conversations about how these systems are used in construction and robotics.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students will be applying what they learned to design their own engineering challenges. They'll work in teams to brainstorm, build, and test creative solutions—just like real engineers.
