I usually find these books out of place at the end of the day. When a student is ready to check out one of these books, I offer a journal, also from donations, so the student can process what they think and feel.\r\n\r\nThese books do make a world of difference to the students. Some students look at me like this is an impossible goal. Some students rise to the challenge and read an entire book series in a month or a semester. \r\n\r\nHaving that entire series is so important. If a student reads a book then finds it's actually book 2 in a series, and I don't have a way to get the rest of the books in a timely manner, that student may stop reading. It's no longer fun to read when we're missing the rest of the story. \r\n\r\nYou've made a huge impact on this library.
