We are getting ready to finish our unit about weather and climate and they just got to complete a tornado lab using the Discovery Tornado Lab 5 Speed Cyclone Controllers! They were also able to learn about a variety of ways to measure weather using the table top weather station, including the history of the storm glass!\r\n\r\nWe are moving onto space next unit, and I cannot wait to introduce them to the solar system model, they are very excited to finally see the constellations that it projects! While we already completed our chemistry unit, my students are intrigued by the new periodic tables, especially the charts at the bottom that show the compositions of different things, such as the atmosphere.\r\n\r\nWhile my environmental science students have not had the opportunity to complete the tornado lab, they were to ones to help me unbox and test them. They are very excited to be able to use the ecosystem game so that they are better able to understand biodiversity.
