Because of you, my kindergarten students and I have been able to use these resources throughout the first half of the school year in meaningful and consistent ways.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the materials daily during whole-group lessons, small-group instruction, and learning centers. The resources have helped make abstract concepts more concrete and accessible for young learners, allowing students to explore, practice, and apply new skills in a hands-on way. These materials have supported academic growth while also encouraging collaboration, independence, and confidence in the classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were beyond excited. They were eager to explore, asked thoughtful questions, and couldn't wait to start using them. Many students immediately shared how excited they were, and that enthusiasm has continued as the resources became part of our regular classroom routine. Their excitement has led to increased engagement and motivation during lessons.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, my next steps for my students include continuing to use these resources to strengthen foundational skills and support differentiated instruction. I plan to expand their use during targeted small-group instruction to meet students at their individual levels, while also incorporating them into enrichment and extension activities. These materials will continue to play an important role in helping my students grow academically and socially as we move through the rest of the school year.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for making such a positive impact on our classroom. My students and I are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1754075854834,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-classroom/9502027/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. List","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10094444_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753556994487","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10094444"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_57689","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":534,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":7,"percentBlack":24,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":57,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"25.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":68.5,"schoolId":57689,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about West Park Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"West Park Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/kansas-city-kansas-city-public-schools/w-a-white-elementary-school/57689"}
