I have been busy adapting these books for my students and we are lucky to be using a new book every week. Thank you again for helping myself and my students.\r\n\r\nThese book are being adapted for my nonverbal students. All of these kids have some type of literacy in their IEP, but it is difficult to monitor their comprehension of details since they are non verbal. By adapting these books with who, what , where, how is the character feeling questions and picture answers ~ my students can tell me what they know and they are able to acquire the skills were are requiring of them. It truly is a very neat process and the kids enjoy it.\r\n\r\nUsing the adapted books also shows growth to parents where it was difficult to do before. My students and their parents have a very concrete tool to see growth.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for helping to fund my project.
