Your kindness has made an immediate and meaningful impact on my students' learning experience.\r\n\r\nWe are using the new resources daily during our science and literacy classes. In science, students are working through hands-on lessons that connect directly to the workbook activities. Recently, we completed a project on ecosystems where students read informational passages, highlighted key details, and then used the workbook diagrams to create their own labeled habitat models. It was incredible to see them making connections between what they read and what they created. In literacy, the structured reading and comprehension activities are helping students build confidence as they practice vocabulary, main idea, and text evidence skills.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was contagious! They were so proud to each have new materials. Several students immediately started flipping through the pages and asking when we could begin. For many of them, having fresh, engaging materials of their own made them feel valued and motivated to learn.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include diving deeper into our current science unit on weather and climate. Students will use their workbooks to collect data, analyze patterns, and write short explanatory pieces about weather changes. In literacy, we will continue building comprehension strategies, focusing on summarizing nonfiction texts and supporting answers with evidence. These resources are helping us strengthen both content knowledge and reading skills in meaningful, connected ways.\r\n\r\nYour support has opened doors for richer discussions, stronger engagement, and increased confidence in my classroom. Thank you for investing in my students and believing in their potential. The books allow us to discuss the government in a way that the student can connect to and see how with the right information they too can be informed decisions when voting.\r\n\r\nThe laminator and sheets have allowed us to laminate some of the materials so we can reuse the books and have continued practice with tactile learning. We will move on to economics second semester where they will being to understand how decisions we make affect so many others. \r\n\r\nWe again would like to thank you for making all of this possible and giving our students access to materials that they otherwise would not have access to.
