Their faces completely light up, and they absolutely love the color! For a small space dedicated to math intervention, these resources have completely transformed our environment into a welcoming, dynamic space tailor-made for student success.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the wobble stools daily as a core tool for kinesthetic learning and sensory regulation. At the beginning of the school year, I meet with students one-on-one to assess them in mathematics. This screening often causes students to exhibit signs of sensory overload. However, a specific benefit we've seen is that the subtle, continuous movement of a wobble stool allows students to self-regulate and remain on task. Having these tools accessible beautifully transforms potential disruptions into moments of successful self-management, keeping students locked into their learning.\r\n\r\nNow that our students have a physically supportive, inclusive environment where they can better regulate their focus, our next step in our learning journey is to tackle mathematical language, representations, number lines, and problem-solving tasks.
