Expo markers are always exciting for students but then to have fun colors to interact with has been very fun for the students. They can draw pictures, work to write letters in their names, but also just practice different ways to hold utensils. It has been so much fun to see these materials in action when it comes to regulating bodies. Three and four year olds are very busy and sometimes a classroom can become very overstimulating and so having more options to help them to regulate themselves has been such an experience to see. There have been quite a few students who have used and loved the vibrating neck puppy. They often seek this as a calming activity when they need to take a break. It is also nice because it is a very student centered activity that the students can simply put around their neck to help regulate their emotions.\r\nThe body sock has also been a hit. It is fun for students to stretch out in but also move their bodies in ways they normally wouldn't do so. It has been fun to watch the students try different movements to help calm their bodies down.\r\nThank you so much for contributing to this project!
