I am so sorry for being so late thanking you. \r\n The sky light covers are beautiful, and not only do they block much of the fluorescent rays, but they add a softness (without darkening) that helps with our calmness and concentration. \r\n The markers, colors and colored pencils are being used regularly as we do creative projects to enhance all of my subjects-math, social studies, science and behavior. \r\n The math posters have been very handy. \r\n The kinetic sand holder is used every day for both the sand and the play dough. These items relax them and allow them to refocus on what they need to accomplish. \r\n The sequined pillows are a huge hit. I thought just my autistic students would love them, but everyone does. They are beautiful and they really enjoy rearranging the sequins-they are a major destressor. The coffee table has been so useful, and it holds things like our kinetic sand/playdough holders. \r\n The snacks have been so needed. We offer free meals at my school but many of the kids miss the breakfast, and they are so hungry. It is wonderful to see their faces relax as they eat and can then focus on what we need to do. Occasionally they even take one home to a younger sibling. \r\n Again, thank you so much. I do feel like we are making a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1756174537927,"projectUrl":"project/the-many-needs-of-a-behaviorsciencesoc/9490494/","projectTitle":"The Many Needs of a Behavior/Science/Social Studies/IEP Goals Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pat","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7851328"},{"teacherId":5846512,"projectId":9084850,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the generous donation of Pickleball courts. The students and staff are so happy to have them to use at the school. Everyone LOVES pickleball and it is so fun to see the kids get into it!\r\nThe 3 pickleball courts fit perfectly in the small gym. They allow for multiple students to practice pickleball skills and play games at the same time. Even students that normally do not participate a ton in PE sports can have fun playing pickleball. The pickle ball courts are used for PE classes and for Clubs. \r\nThe pickleball club was a very popular choice for clubs. Students love that they can compete and have fun playing. The students have enjoyed this club for 4th quarter. \r\nI look forward to using the pickleball courts more outside as well as the weather warms up! Your kindness has made a real difference in the lives of our middle school students, providing them with essential items that help them feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn each day.\r\n\r\nSince launching the project, we have seen firsthand how access to snacks, toothbrushes, deodorant, hair ties, and other necessities has positively impacted our students. Some have shared that a quick snack has helped them focus better in class, while others have appreciated the ability to freshen up before PE or after-school activities. These small but meaningful resources have removed barriers to learning and personal well-being, ensuring that students feel supported and valued.\r\n\r\nOne of the most touching moments was hearing from a student who said, \"Having this here makes me feel like someone cares about me.\" That simple statement reflects the heart of this project—creating an environment where every student feels seen and supported.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only provided tangible items but also fostered a sense of dignity and belonging for our students. They are such an asset to what we are doing. They will be used for many years and my gratitude will continue for all of those years. \r\n\r\nI have attached a picture of a student.
