The wheelchair-accessible desks, the JOY Worker Height Adjustable Rolling Laptop Desk, and the charging stations have already changed how my students learn and move through the room.\r\n\r\nWe're currently working on a lab activity. The new desks let all students — including those using mobility devices — join their groups easily. The rolling laptop desk creates a flexible workspace anywhere it's needed, and the charging stations keep every device ready to go.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes first arrived, the kids' faces lit up. One of my students exclaimed how excited they were that their classmate who uses a wheelchair could finally sit right next to them during group work. Witnessing students cheer for one another and celebrate inclusion was an unforgettable moment.\r\n\r\nAs units come up this year, students will have a workspace that fits them and devices that stay charged. Because of you, we can make lessons hands-on, collaborative, and inclusive.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students not just new materials, but a sense that they are valued and supported.","fullyFundedDate":1746579272579,"projectUrl":"project/charging-forward-with-inclusive-learning/9163959/","projectTitle":"Charging Forward With Inclusive Learning Spaces","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Griep","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9473825_orig.png?crop=311,311,x6,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727809233490","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9473825"},{"teacherId":9473825,"projectId":8820912,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our students can access a wealth of engaging and dynamic learning materials beyond traditional textbooks. The TPT gift card has allowed us to select resources tailored to our students' needs, creating a more personalized and enriching classroom experience.\r\n\r\nStudents have explored Newton's Laws of Motion with these materials through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. Anchor charts displayed in our classroom serve as constant visual reminders, helping students connect concepts like inertia, acceleration, and action-reaction forces to real-life examples. Science doodle note sheets have made reviewing these principles more engaging, as students actively illustrate and annotate key ideas rather than just memorizing definitions.\r\n\r\nEach classroom is unique, and having access to differentiated instruction materials allows us to support all learners better. Struggling students benefit from visual aids and structured note-taking, while advanced students engage in enrichment activities that challenge their critical thinking. These resources also promote collaboration as students work together to solve real-world science problems and explain concepts to their peers.\r\n\r\nBeyond enhancing student learning, this support has also given teachers more time to focus on instruction and individualized support. By accessing high-quality, ready-made resources, we can spend less time searching for materials and more time helping students develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your support in making this possible.
