My students have loved getting to read the new books and enjoy meeting each day to read. They have loved having updated books to help them understand new text features and excite them for reading. I have noticed that they do more reading on their own as well since I started this project. I meet with my groups about 3 times a week and we discuss the book and answer thought provoking questions related to the story. I have noticed that since we started this, they are more thoughtful in their answers and really try and read to their best ability.
