We live in a rural area and most of our students struggle with getting by with just our daily needs. So it is not something that we ever ask students or families to try and help out with. \r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when we opened the box together. They were thrilled to see all different items included and couldn't wait to get to play with them at recess. We immediately got everything ready so they class could take it out to recess that day. \r\n\r\nSince that day of receiving our package, the students are playing every day. I have groups playing volleyball, others playing basketball, and usually have people lined up playing a game of baseball.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity. They are using the jump ropes to create fun group games and the playground balls to practice teamwork. Their favorite group game is Wiffle Ball. They love picking teams and having the natural and friendly competition between them.\r\n\r\nWhen the new equipment arrived, my students' faces lit up with excitement! They couldn't wait to open the boxes and try everything out. The room was buzzing with energy, and several students said, \"This is the best day ever!\" It was so special to see their joy and appreciation.\r\n\r\nWe're currently working on building teamwork and problem-solving skills, both inside and outside the classroom. The new recess equipment will continue to help us with this goal, since students are learning how to play fair, take turns, and encourage one another during games.
