These items are being used at each of our station rotations, giving our students the best experience when working with staff. They have hands-on materials to better accommodate their unique individual needs, and gaining the knowledge needed to move forward in their education. \r\nWhen our students first saw the materials, they went nuts! They were so excited to see new things in our classroom, and everyone had to jump in and explore. It was such a great feeling, spending time allowing them to explore the new items we received, and even bigger reward watching them use these materials first hand. \r\nNext steps for our students is to incorporate these items into group activities. They love to cut, paste, and color so we will be utilizing these in upcoming group activities to expand their minds and fulfill their love of getting messy!","fullyFundedDate":1754318801553,"projectUrl":"project/brilliant-minds/9469769/","projectTitle":"Brilliant Minds!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sherretz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9993238_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754319896722","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9993238"},{"teacherId":9993238,"projectId":9294936,"letterContent":"This project has impacted my students in ways that are helping them regulate, giving them the sensory they seek, and helping their fine motor skills grow. When they first saw these new items, they literally ran straight to them to try them out. Their little faces lit up with such excitement! To see their little minds working and thinking to understand and eager to learn more has been such a joy since receiving these items. \r\nOne particular classroom project we did recently was creating fall trees. I drew tree trunks, and the students pasted on pieces of construction paper to create the fall leaves. Some even made falling leaves from the tree. I thought that was genius! Another project we did was working on fine motor skills with cutting. We used our new adaptive loop scissors and the students did so well! Without those, it would have been more difficult for them to learn to cut. These were such a great item to receive. We've been doing more practice with cutting, and the students really love to do this! \r\nOur next project is to create scarecrows to add to our September fall theme. I am so excited to see how the students will react to creating these. They've grown so much in such a short time of school starting, that I am so excited to see how they continue to do so with more hands-on projects. They've grown truly thrive on these, and with the materials we've received, this will truly be a game changing for my students. \r\nThank you to all donors for your generosity and support for our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1746785560834,"projectUrl":"project/ais-25-26/9294936/","projectTitle":"AIS 25'-26'","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sherretz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9993238_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754319896722","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9993238"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_19934","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":417,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":35,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":78,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 2","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":71.4,"schoolId":19934,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Princeton Community Primary School-N on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Princeton Community Primary School-N","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/indiana/north-gibson-school-district/lowell-north-elementary-school/19934"}
