Your support has made a tremendous difference in the daily learning experiences of my students, and I want you to know just how deeply we appreciate your kindness, your investment in literacy, and your belief in the power of books to inspire young readers.\r\n\r\nWhen our new Junie B. Jones and Magic School Bus books arrived, the excitement in the room was overwhelming. Students crowded around the boxes with wide eyes and huge smiles, eager to see which titles had joined our shelves. Many of them recognized Junie B. Jones immediately and began talking about the stories they already knew or hoped to discover. Others gravitated toward the Magic School Bus series, thrilled to dive into Ms. Frizzle's wild and imaginative journeys. For many of my students, these were characters they had only heard about but never had the chance to read on their own. Thanks to your generosity, they now have access to engaging, high-interest stories that spark their curiosity and support their growing identity as readers.\r\n\r\nThese books have already become a meaningful part of our classroom routine. Students use them during independent reading time to help reach their personal reading goals, and the impact has been remarkable. I have watched reluctant readers become more confident as they choose books that truly interest them. I have seen students encourage their classmates to try a new story or recommend a favorite chapter. Our reading stamina is growing stronger because students are invested, excited, and proud of what they are reading.\r\n\r\nIn addition to supporting individual reading goals, your donation has enriched our classroom read-aloud experience. We have begun sharing several of the books together as a class, and the discussions that follow have been full of insights, questions, laughter, and genuine engagement. It has been wonderful to watch students connect with characters, make predictions, build vocabulary, and participate in conversations that strengthen their comprehension skills. These shared moments have become some of the most joyful parts of our school day.\r\n\r\nYour generosity goes far beyond providing books. You have given my students access to stories that help them dream bigger, explore new ideas, and see themselves as capable readers. You have contributed to a learning environment where students feel motivated, supported, and excited to grow. Most importantly, you have shown them that there are people in the world who believe in their education and want to help them succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you for making such a meaningful impact on our classroom community. We are truly grateful for the gift you have given us, and we will continue to use these books with care, joy, and appreciation. Please know that your support is helping shape young minds every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1755713060274,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-hudnalls-classroom-library/9531929/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Hudnall's Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hudnall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10110815"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_18959","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":194,"numTeachers":13,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":93,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"14.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":88.9,"schoolId":18959,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rykers Ridge Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rykers Ridge Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/indiana/madison-consolidated-schools/rykers-ridge-elementary-school/18959"}
