A Preschool Project to Celebrate Self-Identity! The project brings a new depth of fun into our classroom and truly helps make my students feel important as we celebrate their individuality on their special day...their birthday. Furthermore, our classroom birthday parties help to further develop our classroom climate and culture.\r\n\r\nMy students love all of the items in this project. However, the karaoke microphone and the birthday books have to be some of their favorites. I have chosen to incorporate the use of the microphone into a classroom job by giving students the opportunity to lead the class in singing \" Happy Birthday\". The kids love this! I also read The Happy Birthday books to my class on birthdays. This is such a great activity to make each student feel special. My sensory wall has been a huge hit. My students are able to visit it independently to help calm and support emotional and sensory regulation. It's also a great place for students to visit just for fun. My classroom sensory wall also offers my students a wonderful creative outlet for everyone to enjoy. \r\n\r\nThe classroom sensory wall that your donations helped support is also the perfect size.
