We have a group this year who has experienced more hardship than most adults do, and the Reset Room has been so helpful in creating a trauma-safe space. Students have been working on skill sheets in the room, have had lightbulb moments about their own mental health and of course, we have had the ability to establish positive relationships with students has been made possible because of resources like this. We are able to see increased time spent at school after regulation where students in some extreme cases would have previously been sent home for crisis. \r\nMental health is a large area of need, especially with youth and I want you all to know that you are incredible partners in early intervention.
