Curiosity and personal passion are important motivators for young readers. My students have access to a wider variety of books to pique that curiosity and passion, and it's all thanks to your generosity. They like to sit in the book nook with the lights and the bean bag chair, and sometimes they'll even pick up a book! Several of my studenta have told me that it looks great, and nobody has asked me to turn off the lights since I put in the flourescent light covers and added the lamps. And thanks to the extension cords, nobody has complained about finding an outlet for charging their computer.\r\nI've also gotten several compliments from other teachers and students dropping in for visits. The school coat drive was very successful this year. Every student received a coat and winter boots thanks to donations from you and our local community. We even have extra coats to give to new arrivals!\r\nI also have a huge stash of tissues that I can share with the other English teachers, which is very helpful. We go through them fast with all the viruses floating around this time of year.
