We had the BEST unboxing! We use these materials all the time, and the kids and I ALL benefit from having them. \r\n\r\nFor years, I have attended conferences and training sessions in which people talk about the benefits of using sound to calm and settle. However, I have never had tools for this in my classroom. Now, I can pull out the singing bowl, or the chimes, and - even though these are noise-making items - the students immediately settle and become quiet. They sit and wait for their turn. They are absolutely reverent with these items. \r\n\r\nMy students also love the stretching exercises and the mindfullness supports. They LOVE that they can use the balance boards during class! One student stands on a board while he is working almost as often as he sits to work! Another student has gained a new role as the king of balancing - no one else can use the balance boards as successfully (or creatively) as he does!
