In the past we have had stickers, pencils, and temporary tattoos. \r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, they will now have MUSIC themed stickers and pencils, and really cool little pets to add to our prize list. They are going to be so excited to work together to earn these prizes this year. We are so excited to get started with the Ukuleles this year with our new 4th graders. They have been set up, tuned, stickers added and are ready for the first day of school. \r\n\r\nOur goal this year is to learn how to play 5 chords on the Ukuleles, and then be able to use them throughout the year while we sing, dance, play games, and even while we play the xylophones. \r\n\r\nOur students haven't started back to school yet, but we knew before the summer the Ukuleles would be coming, so I was able to share the news with them then. They were so excited! Many students actually jumped up and down. They were sad to be returning to the same school, but knowing they have something NEW and COOL to do that is just theirs made a huge difference.
