It's literally the gift that keeps on giving! \r\nThis resource has provided my current Second Graders with engaging, non-fiction text with topics that spark interest in Science, Social Studies, as well as current events. This resource not only engages students in grade level, high interest non-fiction texts, but allows me to seamlessly integrate Science and Social Study topics into our Literacy Blocks. I can provide explicit instruction on skills that help students better understand non-fiction text. This resource also includes ready made teacher resources to engage students in effective practice of these strategies and skills.
