These materials have allowed me to organize our flex seating, given me resources for social skill instruction, and provided students with headphones that we use for instruction daily. \r\n\r\nConsistency and organization are essential to our classroom environment. Many of my students have sensory needs and thrive on having routine and predictability in our day. Having the resources for social skill instruction that builds on itself and is tailored to the grades that my students are in has been so beneficial to both me and my students this year. I do not have to spend hours searching for themes and resources, and having consistent activities is great for students. \r\n\r\nPlaydough is not only a great calming tool, it is also great for building fine motor skills and is very versatile in what it can be used for throughout the school day. Having new Playdough and craft trays to keep it on made students so excited, and I have saved so much time not having to pick pieces up out of the carpet and off of the tables since it is all on the trays. \r\n\r\nThese donations have allowed my students and I to have an awesome start to our year.
