I work really hard getting my students the best equipment. These kids come from low income families and have struggles that I can not even relate. I want them to see that we care and want the best for them.\r\nThank you for the volleyballs. These kids were so excited when I showed them the new balls. They lit up and didn't want to quit using them. All of the kids think they are going pro in a sport or youtube. I use their passion to drive their education. We discuss how becoming a better student, will allow them to be better players. The drive they have using the better equipment is amazing. \r\nFinally this will help our 4/5 volleyball team the most. They use the lite volleyballs and these will allow them practice and play with the right equipment. I didn't know that we needed them for that age group. So I went to the donors for help. Without donors like you our kids wouldn't have the chance to play with the correct equipment. This gives them pride in their team and are able to show up to games, like a team. I love that the donors choose what they want to support. My students/players have already started using the equipment. The volleyball team has their first game tonight and will be showing up with new equipment. The waterbottles will be great for the kids. We are going to put decals on them. They will get to use them during the season and after will be able to keep for the memories.\r\nThe volleyball team was so excited to have real game balls. The kids that have seen the basketballs, keep asking about tryouts. The kids are so happy to have nice equipment.\r\n\r\nOur school is always evolving. This year we are going to try to get a 4th and 5th grade team. We had these teams in the past. Since covid it has been off and on. We are wanting to get the kids involved earlier in school. This allows them to compete with other school. Our kids don't have the funds or transportation to play sports out of school. With support from donors like you, we can get them playing organized sports sooner.","fullyFundedDate":1754626206259,"projectUrl":"project/new-year-new-teams-new-equipment/9506269/","projectTitle":"New Year New Teams New Equipment","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Kroeger","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6620015_orig.png?crop=358,358,x0,y27&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1575910073841","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6620015"},{"teacherId":9911672,"projectId":9087329,"letterContent":"My students have used the new headphones for testing and reading during free time.
