Many of my students have strong oral proficiency in Spanish, but they need more opportunities to develop their reading skills. With these books, they will have a diverse selection of texts that reflect their experiences and introduce them to new perspectives from across the Spanish-speaking world.\r\n\r\nI plan to use these books in several ways. Students will have independent reading time to explore stories at their own pace, and we will also incorporate them into literature circles, where they will analyze themes, characters, and language use. Additionally, I will encourage students to take books home to share with their families, strengthening their connection to Spanish outside the classroom. I am excited to see their confidence grow as they engage with these texts and develop a lifelong love of reading.\r\n\r\nYour support will make a lasting impact on my students' academic growth and personal development.
