It gave them a better understanding of how dramas were written and performed. It also gave them a better appreciation of Shakespeare. The students who are more reserved in class seemed to enjoy acting out the play. My students have LOVED the photos they've been taking. As you know a brain break can be described as short structured breaks that can either be some type of physical activity or another type of mindful exercise. During the brain breaks we take I have the students \"unplug\" themselves from their eletronic devices so we can either play a round of horse in the gym, have a Connect Four tournament or play Uno with classmates. \r\n At the beginning of the school year the students were not sure about why we needed brain breaks. However, now students have been asking when we have our next brain break scheduled. I have started to implement \"Fun Friday\". This is a concept where if they are working all week, I set aside class time to have extra brain breaks on Friday. With the winter season approaching us I feel that having the opportunity to have more physical brain breaks will benefit the students. \r\n Again, I am sorry for the delay and I can not describe how excited the students get about our brain breaks. My homeroom students were so excited to see the new puzzles and games on the counter when they arrived. Every day, there are students using the supplies that we received from this project. \r\nSome of the students love the puzzles most. We currently have three different puzzles going all at once because so many students enjoy doing them. Every day in homeroom, I also see many of my students playing games.
