Our next steps involve integrating these resources into upcoming lessons and projects, allowing students to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. At this moment, my students are using the items in a variety of ways. The calming lights have made my classroom a cool, calm space where the students enjoy learning. They know that when they come in, they will not be hit face-on with the brightness of the large overhead fluorescent lights. They absolutely love the fish lamps, and a few of them have even told me that if they are having a bad day, just taking a look at them and watching the fish swim, the bubble, and the colors changing helps them to calm themselves and get back to a better state of mind. The fidgets are something the students have access to at all times in my classroom. They can grab one and use it while in class.
