The new resources we received has made things much easier for completing various projects and ideas in and out of class. Students were able to to create projects on a much bigger scale as well as cut time down by creating and cutting materials faster in a larger scale. In the past we could only use a 12X12 section now that has tripled. Students were excited to see new materials and their ideas started flowing and making connections to other subjects as well. They discussed how Math, Science and even ELA could use the machine and projects. The finding of this project has Promoted Creativity and Student Voice. Students are able to express themselves through custom designs, choosing colors, styles, and themes. This builds confidence and ownership in learning in class and outside of class. \r\nThe next steps for this project is to create larger scale designs and incorporate them into various class assignments, create ideas for after school clubs as well as be able to show case things they design. In ELA students are able to make life size posters, design book covers and even flashcards. In Math and STEM students will be able to Apply real-world math in scaling and spacing designs and in Science Build models and Create organization tools for labs.
