We started the year using them and making observations about what we saw and noticed. \r\n\r\nAs the year has progressed we have used them to learn about 1 more and 1 less. The kids have discovered that they can do addition with them and check their own work, which has been super fun to watch. I thought these would be used during our math block, but often times the kids are asking to get them out for fast finisher work and for free choice time as well!
