I thought these would be used during our math block, but often times the kids are asking to get them out for fast finisher work and for free choice time as well! One thing that I have noticed is that students are coming to kindergarten with fewer and fewer fine motor skills. The butcher paper activities provide them with opportunities to build not only their fine motor skills, but also hand- eye coordination. \r\n\r\nThe students get so excited for butcher paper activities and many of them state that they are their favorite center time activities. I have seen growth in both fine motor and hand eye coordination. I love that they are excited to work together on these tasks and are excited for learning! \r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting me and my students.
