Your generosity helped to better equip my room in our new building for the start of our school year. As the school year progresses, we are slowly using more and more items that were purchased through this project.\r\n\r\nThe new smiley face rug has provided ample space for students to be able to all sit on the carpet without being too close to one another. It is such a fun and colorful rug that all the students love to look at each day when they walk into our classroom. We use our hanging pocket chart daily to store our headphones. This has really made storing our headphones so much easier! All of my students are really looking forward to using the new art cart soon to dry their projects on. Having a drying rack on wheels will make it easier for me and our art teacher to use throughout the school year. I think the biggest hit of this project has been the magnetic ball and rod set, brain flakes, and straw constructor toys. These are some of the favorite center toys to get out each day during center time. \r\n\r\nUsing these items this year would not be possible without you and your support. It truly means so much to me and my students!","fullyFundedDate":1745412387771,"projectUrl":"project/a-new-space-for-the-next-generation/9203365/","projectTitle":"A New Space for the Next Generation","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Howard","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8352124_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y20&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1646771126645","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8352124"},{"teacherId":9986066,"projectId":9215644,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting my classroom project. The 10 drawer carts have brought organization to my monthly calendar / number corner supplies and to my daily teaching materials. The plastic sterilite countertop 3 drawer units are housing teaching materials for all of my knowledge units. We just completed our \"Fables and Folktales\" unit in Knowledge and we used our globe to locate the countries in which each story originated. It's the perfect size for my 1st graders to use independently. The most exciting items in my project are the body systems puzzle and the 2-sided magnetic body model. We just started our \"human body\" unit in Knowledge and the students are so excited to explore these materials. I can't wait until later in the school year when we get to our \"Solar System\" unit so that my students can explore the motorized solar system model set that I received as part of my project. The 2 wire mesh file organizers are being utilized to hold my classroom laptops on a cart, which allowed me to free up space on top of my bookshelves.","fullyFundedDate":1745412388191,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-crosiers-new-first-grade-classroom/9215644/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Crosier's new First Grade Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crosier","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9986066"},{"teacherId":9087694,"projectId":8930132,"letterContent":"Again, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. When my students saw me airing up the seats, their faces lit up with excitement!! They are so so excited to be able to use these seats. I'm also excited for them to have extra opportunities to wiggle in their seats instead of outside of their seats. Since we have had these seats, I have noticed a significant improvement inside of my classroom. Students are able to move around in their seats safely, and they are able to avoid distracting themselves and others by staying in their seats while moving. The organizer containers were wonderful. They were just what we needed to get organized and to be able to find the item we needed very quickly. We stored all of our puzzle frames and pieces in the square containers. Now my students can play with the puzzles without worrying about losing any pieces.\r\nThe zipper pocket bags were amazing. They hold quite a bit and you can label your bag with ease. \r\nThe purple curtain and rod was used to hang in front of a built in bookcase. Kids are very curious and without a curtain, they were always trying to look around me just to see what was on the shelves. The curtain helps to hide the items plus keep curiosity at bay. It also helps to make the classroom look neater. \r\nLastly, we received three boxes of Magic Groove practice copybooks. These items have helped my students to learn how to stay on a line, when writing their words. Each box comes with 4 books in each box. Each book is labeled either alphabet, multiplication, numbers and drawing. The students use these items every day.
