We're 3 weeks into the new school year and my students have already been utilizing many of the new items you help provide. The new smiley face rug provides a soft surface for the students to sit during various lessons throughout the day and its soft, plush texture provides students with tactile sensory input by running their hands on the rug while they're seated. I have already used the hot glue gun, laminator, laminating pockets and other office supplies to prepare new materials and preserve classroom posters and displays in the classroom for the new school year. The new chair pockets and desk dividers have provided my students with much needed storage of their daily supplies and privacy while taking assessments. The new book bins have provided additional storage for books in our classroom library. The brain games you provided for indoor recess have quickly become a favorite among my students. When the games arrived, the children were excited and eager to explore them. They immediately began working together, learning the rules, and challenging themselves to solve puzzles and complete activities. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and excitement as they discovered new ways to think, create, and problem-solve.\r\n\r\nThese brain games have transformed our indoor recess time into an engaging learning opportunity. Instead of simply waiting for the weather to improve, students are building critical thinking, teamwork, perseverance, and communication skills while having fun. One memorable moment was watching a group of students work together to solve a particularly challenging puzzle. They encouraged one another, shared ideas, and celebrated their success when they finally found the solution. Experiences like these help build confidence and strengthen our classroom community.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has provided my students with meaningful opportunities to learn and grow in ways that extend beyond traditional academics. With them, we have been able to organize all of our craft supplies in a way that makes them much easier to find and use. This is a big time saver for a special needs room. Your generosity helped to better equip my room in our new building for the start of our school year. As the school year progresses, we are slowly using more and more items that were purchased through this project.\r\n\r\nThe new smiley face rug has provided ample space for students to be able to all sit on the carpet without being too close to one another. It is such a fun and colorful rug that all the students love to look at each day when they walk into our classroom. We use our hanging pocket chart daily to store our headphones. This has really made storing our headphones so much easier! All of my students are really looking forward to using the new art cart soon to dry their projects on. Having a drying rack on wheels will make it easier for me and our art teacher to use throughout the school year. I think the biggest hit of this project has been the magnetic ball and rod set, brain flakes, and straw constructor toys. These are some of the favorite center toys to get out each day during center time. \r\n\r\nUsing these items this year would not be possible without you and your support.
