I was hopeful but knew that realistically it was a big ask. I have never been so surprised or so grateful that a project like this was brought to completion.\r\n\r\nWe have only had our materials for a week and it has already made such a huge impact in our classroom. I teach 2 classes of 5th graders with an almost completely online curriculum. It never fails that at least one student in each homeroom has a computer that is dangerously low on charge. This resource allows those students to continue to participate in class without the need for changing seats or trying to find a spare working charger in my classroom.\r\n\r\nThis resource is hands-down the most useful thing (besides pencils) that I have ever received for my classroom. The pencil sharpeners have been a HUGE hit and have helped make sure that students always have a sharp and ready pencil for all classroom activities.\r\n\r\nThe boxes of pastel pencils have also been a hit. We use them in our room for \"Pencil Checks\". Each student receives 2 pencils a month with their name on it. Students have pencil checks every Friday. Students that have both pencils receive prizes and extra pencils. It has been a great way for students to show responsibility.\r\n\r\nWithout your donations, none of this would have been possible.
