This resource has quickly become a central part of our daily routine. We use it during whole-group lessons on the carpet, especially in math and phonics. One special moment was during a recent math lesson when students gathered around the easel to solve addition problems together. They were so engaged—raising their hands, explaining their thinking, and even coming up to demonstrate their strategies. The easel has made it so much easier for me to model skills clearly while keeping all students involved.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the easel, they were so excited! Many of them immediately asked if they would get to come up and write on it. Their enthusiasm has continued as they take turns using it during lessons, which has built both their confidence and participation. It truly makes learning feel more interactive and fun for them.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue using the easel to support our growing skills in reading, writing, and math. We are beginning to work more on problem-solving and explaining our thinking, and the easel provides the perfect space for students to share their ideas with the class. Both myself and the students are so grateful. They love to sit in the chair and the cushions when we have a break or reading time. They think it is so comfortable. We have also been reading the emotion books. These are great because they help students identify their emotions more. My class is so grateful for every item we received. \r\n\tWhen I first showed my students the big chair for the carpet, they were so excited and they all took a turn to sit on it. They were also happy for the cushions, because they could bring them to their desk chain to sit on to focus more. \r\n\tRight now in ELA class, we are working on Halloween writing, so every day we are practicing handwriting with correct capital letters, punctuations, and grammar. Students have had a direct impact from your kindness. The students in my class use this regulation station daily. When a student is feeling disregulated or struggling to face a difficult challenge (like learning multiplication) the products provided by your kindness helped to relax them. One student in particular has stopped having outbursts and instead shows me a signal to go to the regulation station. \r\n\r\nStudents who need the items have shown improvement in being able to face a problem with a calmer body and mind. Instead of raising their voices or becoming more upset, they are able to approach a conversation and better understand, taking responsibility instead of yelling. \r\n\r\nALL students are excited to use the materials. The breathing pals are their FAVORITE. There are times when I know we are facing a challenging task, and all students are allowed to get a calming tool to help them face the task.
