The excitement was immediate — students couldn't wait to try them out. Many of them commented on how \"cool\" it was to have flexible seating options that let them move while learning. The wobble chairs have quickly become favorites during group work and independent reading time, helping students who need to fidget stay focused and engaged. The standing table has been especially popular for collaborative projects — it's now the go-to spot for brainstorming sessions, STEM challenges, and completing group work.\r\nThese new additions have completely changed the energy in our classroom. Students who once struggled to sit still for long periods are now more comfortable and attentive. During a recent study hall period, I noticed a student who normally struggles to stay focused-laser focused on completing his work. The flexible seating has encouraged more movement, choice, and ownership of their learning environment — something that has truly made a difference in participation and focus.\r\nAs we continue our current units, my students are using these furnishings to collaborate on group projects and explore creative problem-solving. Thank you for helping make our classroom a more dynamic, inclusive, and student-centered place to learn. Your generosity didn't just fund furniture — it created opportunities for better learning and happier students every day.","fullyFundedDate":1758207599029,"projectUrl":"project/stand-up-for-flexible-seating/9535480/","projectTitle":"Stand Up for Flexible Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. LaLone","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9869229"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_27881","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":459,"numTeachers":37,"percentFrplEligible":32,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":91,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"5 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.0,"schoolId":27881,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Limestone Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Limestone Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/herscher-community-school-district-2/limestone-elementary-school/27881"}
