There are times in the room that we are working independently or with groups and the students become very excited to sit on the wobbly chairs. I even went above and told the students, if this seating helps you stay focused and learn I will allow them every class. Let me tell you, there are several students who jump on this opportunity. I have seen students become more active and participating in class more. Now, can I say for 100% it is because of the chairs. No, but I truly believe that it does have some impact. \r\n\r\nWe had one wobble chair that everyone would fight over in class. When the students saw the 2 large boxes that were delivered to my room the curiosity went crazy. I pulled out the wobble chairs and they clapped with excitement. You should have seen the looks on their faces when they noticed the adjustable height of each chair. This is why I love gift giving so much! \r\n\r\nThroughout the day I see 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. My 8th graders tell me that these wobbly chairs \"are the most comfortable seating in my room\". My 7th graders tell me that they like that the chairs raise and lower in height. \"I prefer to feel like I am almost standing. This chairs gets me to rock too.\" \r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my classroom with new and engaging items!","fullyFundedDate":1737167158252,"projectUrl":"project/wobbling-into-success/8991502/","projectTitle":"Wobbling into Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rompala","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6649702_orig.jpg?crop=1166,1166,x216,y440&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1565666611777","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/theresa-rompala"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_26427","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":270,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":24,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":59,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":27,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"9.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.0,"schoolId":26427,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Elwood Community Consolidated School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Elwood Community Consolidated School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/elwood-community-consolidated-school-district-203/elwood-community-cons-school/26427"}
