These instruments have truly been game-changing for my students and music curriculum. Right now, I use them weekly with all my fourth and fifth grade students. The keyboards are MIDI, which means they work through their Chromebooks. We use Shared Piano on the amazing music website, Chrome Music Lab. I teach a brief lesson and then students are allowed to put on their headphones and practice on their own. I can visit with each child and work with them one-on-one, which I never really could when played recorders. I notice my students, particularly my special education students, are much more successful with the keyboard, too. This has been such a cool experience!
