Since students are allowed to write on their desks, there is always high engagement!\r\n\r\nMy students are always excited for new materials, but they were particularly excited to see the markers in a variety of colors. We are also grateful for the erasers because typically my students have to waste a paper towel or use their sleeves of their sweatshirts. Your contributions help us reduce waste and prevent students from getting expo marker on their clothes.\r\n\r\nWe just finished up on state testing and students will be moving into content that is above grade level. My 8th grade students will begin Algebra and my 7th grade students will start with 8th grade geometric transformations. They learned the name of the shapes, described the shapes, compared shapes, and shapes remained the same as they oriented them differently.
