Students are able to explore the environment and choose an activity that helps them regulate or stimulate their bodies and emotions. We have noticed students becoming more social with one another, giving eye contact, and taking turns. We love all the progress we are seeing in student behavior and their social-emotional learning. We can't thank you enough for all the generosity for our student success. They love and appreciate all you have done through your donations!\r\n\r\nThese items are already making a huge difference. The trampoline and swing are aiding in physical development, improving coordination and motor skills. The calming weighted blanket and noise-reducing headphones are invaluable for emotional regulation, providing a safe space to de-escalate. The fidget toys create a joyful school experience. This has sparked engagement for the rest of the day. \r\n\r\n The sensory room has become alive and exciting with the new lights, the swing, and the trampoline.
