Many of our students come from lower-income households where basic necessities like food often take priority over personal hygiene items. By supplying essentials such as deodorant, soap, and toothpaste, you have helped remove a significant barrier for our students, allowing them to feel confident and cared for throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThis resource has improved more than just hygiene it has boosted self-esteem, strengthened peer relationships, and created a more positive learning environment. When students feel clean and confident, they are more likely to engage in class, participate in activities, and build healthy social connections. Your donation has helped students focus on learning rather than worrying about things beyond their control, and that sense of dignity and belonging is invaluable.\r\n\r\nThank you for making such a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. Many of our learners come to school without adequate food, and your contribution ensured that every child had access to something nourishing throughout the day. These snacks helped fuel their brains, allowing them to stay focused and engaged in learning rather than worrying about hunger. For students who often go without, this simple act of kindness provided comfort and stability, reinforcing that their needs matter.\r\n\r\nBeyond meeting physical needs, your support also played a critical role in emotional regulation. When students experience dysregulation, having a healthy snack available often helps them calm down and regain control, creating a more positive and productive classroom environment. This resource has not only improved academic performance but has also fostered a sense of care and community within our school. Your generosity has truly impacted both the hearts and minds of our students, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to their success.\r\n\r\nThank you for making a lasting difference in our classroom and for believing in the power of education and compassion.","fullyFundedDate":1755895471685,"projectUrl":"project/snack-support-fueling-academic-success/9564402/","projectTitle":"Snack Support: Fueling Academic Success One Bite at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jensen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3870014_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690584994863","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/rikki-jensen"},{"teacherId":9720688,"projectId":9754090,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations! I was able to add so many new and exciting books to my library that have really strengthened our community of reading. In addition to hosting book talks and book tastings, I also have classes in the library regularly.\r\n\r\nDuring lunch, I have \r\nactivities and programs happening to get kids into the library. One of our October activities required students to check out a book of their choice, then turn the main character into a ghost. I put the ghost character pictures all around the library to celebrate student reading. The majority of students who participated chose a book from this project, which is so exciting.\r\n\r\nOur small school works hard to help students connect with books and find their genre of reading. Funding projects like this help make that goal a reality, and I am beyond thankful for the generosity of our donors. I'm excited to continue offering programs to get kids engaged with books in the library, especially our new titles.","fullyFundedDate":1758905891540,"projectUrl":"project/books-books-books/9754090/","projectTitle":"Books!
