My students were so excited to get BouncyBands in our classroom. They each got to help put them on the chairs, then we set up the chairs so we could get a picture of all of them together. The smiles and joy was a wonderful feeling to experience together with them. \r\n\r\nWe were also able to share 5 BouncyBands with each 5th grade class! One class cheered and clapped, they would no longer have to share. Their class now has a full classroom set. Both teachers and students were thankful and excited for the new BouncyBands. \r\n\r\nDuring Phonics instruction my students use their hands, and are unable to use handheld fidget and sensory tools. It is a fast paced learning experience where students speak, write, and bring their hands together. Students are able to use the BouncyBands to bounce their feet. It is a great way to use a sensory tool without the use of their hands or cause a distraction for other students. \r\n\r\nIn closing, Thank you so much for your donations. This project was the most money I have ever tried to raise for a project. I was awed and humbled that we were able to raise the funds in a week time. My friends, family, neighbors, and community members all came together to help me reach my goal. I get emotional every time I think about it!
