While many of us use technology every day at home, its role in the classroom has become a powerful tool for creativity, engagement, and deeper learning.\r\n\r\nIn our classrooms, technology allows students to take ownership of their learning. They're not just consuming information—they're creating, designing, and problem-solving. Whether they're modeling a 3D design, collaborating on shared digital projects, or exploring interactive simulations, our students are developing real-world skills that will serve them far beyond graduation.\r\n\r\nThe introduction of our new 3D printing filament and digital caliper has sparked tremendous excitement. Students are especially drawn to how this technology turns their ideas into tangible results. The ability to design something digitally and then see it come to life right before their eyes has transformed abstract concepts into hands-on experiences.\r\n\r\nOne particularly inspiring example is how interested the kids have become on creating 3D objects to print. This kind of engagement reminds us why access to innovative technology matters—it reaches students in ways that traditional methods sometimes can't.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we're able to open new doors for every learner, helping them explore, experiment, and express themselves in ways that prepare them for the future.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our students and supporting our mission to provide meaningful, modern learning experiences. Your impact can be seen in every spark of curiosity and every proud smile when a project comes to life.","fullyFundedDate":1751236476288,"projectUrl":"project/3d-printing-and-class-materials/9437327/","projectTitle":"3D Printing and Class Materials","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ratcliff","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10065816"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_52567","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":86,"numTeachers":9,"percentFrplEligible":49,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":82,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"9.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":33.3,"schoolId":52567,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Salmon River Junior Senior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Salmon River Junior Senior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/idaho/salmon-river-joint-sd-243/salmon-river-junior-senior-high-school/52567"}
