Your generosity provided us with high-quality testing headphones, engaging pop-its for both reading and social-emotional learning, and a variety of hands-on learning tools that are already making a big difference in our daily learning.\r\n\r\nThe moment the materials arrived was filled with excitement—students were immediately curious and couldn't wait to explore everything. It was a powerful reminder of how the right tools can support not just academics, but emotional well-being too.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the headphones to great use during testing and independent learning time. They've helped students stay focused and feel more confident in completing their work without distractions. The pop-its have become a favorite reading companion for some of our more active learners, providing a calming, tactile way to stay engaged. And our hands-on STEM tools have sparked curiosity and critical thinking—we recently used them in a small group challenges, and the collaboration and problem-solving that took place were incredible to watch.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're building on this momentum with more STEM-based learning activities that promote teamwork and creativity. These resources have opened the door to deeper engagement, and the students are eager for what's next.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly empowered my students and enriched their learning experience in meaningful ways. Thank you for being part of our classroom and helping to create a space where students feel equipped, supported, and excited to learn every day.","fullyFundedDate":1740872008755,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-students-through-stem-foster/9131309/","projectTitle":"Empowering Students Through STEM: Fostering Hands-On Learning and Focused Engagement","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Free","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5951584"},{"teacherId":1553033,"projectId":9081695,"letterContent":"When the pop-it tools arrived, my students were thrilled. Their eyes lit up with excitement, and they couldn't wait to explore each one. We began by allowing time for open-ended play, which naturally sparked curiosity and joy. Soon after, I began modeling ways to use the pop-its to support our learning. These tools have quickly become a favorite in our classroom—not just for play, but as powerful learning aids.\r\n\r\nWe've used the ten-frame pop-its to strengthen understanding of Making 10, one of the more challenging concepts for kindergarteners. The pop-it dice game has helped students develop one-to-one correspondence and additive reasoning, adapting easily to meet students at their individual levels. Other pop-it sets have been used for phonemic awareness, spelling, and sensory-friendly activities that support our neurodivergent learners in engaging with content more meaningfully.\r\n\r\nThese resources have transformed our math and literacy centers, giving students the confidence to explore new ideas in a hands-on, engaging way. One of the most heartwarming outcomes has been watching students develop their own favorite uses for the pop-its. As we wrap up the year, each student is writing a note to next year's class, sharing how they use the pop-its to learn—passing on both excitement and purpose.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible. Your generosity has planted seeds of joy, discovery, and confidence that will continue to grow in our classroom for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1739375886035,"projectUrl":"project/pop-play-and-learn-hands-on-fun-for-b/9081695/","projectTitle":"Pop, Play, and Learn: Hands-On Fun for Bright Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stucki","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1553033_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1524800489320","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/becky-stucki"},{"teacherId":5933302,"projectId":9131552,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the Self Regulation materials that you provided my classroom! I have placed most of them in my Calm Down Corner, and choose a couple each day for students to choose from when they need self-regulation. The Conversation Cards have been used whole group for discussions about how best to handle situations.\r\n\r\nWhen the class first saw the items coming in, they were thrilled! We only had books and worksheets in our calm down corner, and now they had actual physical items they could manipulate to help them in their 'feelings' journey. The tubes, calm down disks, play dough and feelings mats, have all been bit hits! The timers are super helpful and easy for helping students stay for their allotted time.\r\n\r\nWe are now going to embark on a journey to have a calmer and quieter room by acquiring headphones for our app times and testing times.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support of my classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1740852918850,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-students-self-regulate/9131552/","projectTitle":"Help My Students Self-Regulate!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Weber","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5933302_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538355743106","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/paige-weber"},{"teacherId":1553033,"projectId":8724854,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous funding of four sets of OGO sport games, a bag to store them in, and extra Kush balls. Through your support my students have been able to improve their gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cooperative abilities, all while having fun. These resources are used as an earned activity, community building fun, and indoor recess activity. Their versatility is a game changer for me as a kindergarten teacher. \r\n\r\nDuring indoor recess we appreciate having the resources to be active and have an outlet to release energy. These tools have been incredibly effective in building students' motor skills and teamwork. Additionally, the games have been used for school-wide activities, where students can choose to participate, and they were particularly popular among some of our most challenging students. This has created an inclusive environment where all students feel welcome and engaged.\r\n\r\n When we first received the OGO sports sets and Kush balls, my students were beyond excited. They immediately wanted to try them out and couldn't wait to start playing. They were especially thrilled to have a new way to be active indoors, and it was clear that these tools brought a lot of excitement and energy into our classroom.\r\n\r\n Moving forward, we plan to continue incorporating the OGO sport games into our classroom activities, using them as rewards and tools for reinforcing positive behaviors. The continued use of these resources will not only help strengthen the skills of my current students but will also give future students the opportunity to benefit from these tools. I am especially excited about the opportunity to play alongside my students, which helps build rapport and fosters a sense of community and collaboration.\r\n\r\n I am grateful to our donors for making this possible and look forward to continuing to share these materials with the broader school community in the years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1733267777172,"projectUrl":"project/building-skills-through-play-enhancing/8724854/","projectTitle":"Building Skills Through Play: Enhancing Student Development","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stucki","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1553033_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1524800489320","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/becky-stucki"},{"teacherId":5433151,"projectId":8884146,"letterContent":"On behalf of my kindergarten students, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support.
