Your generosity and help in securing these materials (Books for Band) is already having a very positive impact on our band program. \r\n\r\nI am so pleased with the quality of exercises in these books by Sound Innovations. While I have had no experience with these books in the past, they came highly recommended by several band directors. The exercises are very challenging and perfect for the talent levels of both my top Wind Symphony and our Concert Band. The latter needed help with more foundational elements of their playing and these are perfect.\r\n\r\nThe day we received these, we put them to immediate use. I had been \"talking these up\" for a while and the students were quite curious yet skeptical of their value. Once we started playing through the exercises they began having fun. A lot of fun actually. We were immediately able to have some success and sound good which is such a positive reinforcement. Then, as we progressed, we started getting into more challenging material. By the end of the first class, we saw what work we needed to do to be able to continue in the books. This is the purpose of course. The next day we started with a couple of the more challenging exercises and were able to play these pretty well by the end of class. Again, such a positive reinforcement.\r\n\r\nAs teachers, we are always searching for materials that will have an optimal effect on what we are trying to teach. These books certainly fit that bill. Thank you so much for your help in securing these for my program.
