The 5th graders got the hover balls all put together and I gave them the task to create a fun game that incorporates a lesson with them. We are going to trial and error their ideas and share them with the younger grades when we find the perfect one. I have saved at least 10 dead chromebooks in the past 3 days so there was no excuse as to why a lesson couldn't be completed haha. I think I was more appreciative of that than the student though to be honest! We have decided to use the stars to create constellations around the room. We do a lot of lights out typing, so they will get to check out their favorite ones while we do so. So many teaches have made comments about the elastic bands and have asked how they make a difference....some claiming they would be distracting. I was excited to tell them, they keep the kids busy in a stationary location, they're the best thing EVER. I got to explain to some of the classes that when they earn a certificate on one of their typing assignments, we will be able to print them out so they can share with their family's at home as well.\r\n Having all the items you helped provide will make such a fun difference to encourage fun learning which is something I love to promote to some of our stubborn students who can give you 100 reasons as to why they don't like class.
