Every teacher now has a visual timer in their classrooms. Some of them were skeptical, but when our English teacher approached me and said \"I can't believe I'm saying this, but it worked!\" I knew we had found a new helpful tool for time management. \r\n\r\nOur students often struggle to use their time wisely when given a certain amount of time to complete an assignment. No matter how much time is given, they often avoid the work until two minutes are remaining and then rush to complete the task. With the help of the visual timers, the teachers are saying that the kids are self-monitoring and getting their work done by the end of the allotted time. \r\n\r\nThe mindful mazes have been a favorite fidget toy in my office when students come in disregulated and need something to physically occupy themselves.
