Amazon has these amazing boxes that are filled with snacks and I was able to purchase 7 of them. I know it will run out soon, but it has left an impact forever. Small bites, Big Impact is now my motto for this school year.\r\nThe next step is possible lunch recess activities like making cards and sharing them with a positive note and leaving them in students bags. The puzzles became a go-to resource in the classroom - a hands-on activity that is fun and is easily differentiable across multiple levels of difficulty.\r\n\r\nThe first time students saw the puzzles, their reaction was pure excitement. They were drawn to them immediately - first trying them individually, and then some students paired up to tackle them together. We saw genuine looks of happiness and wonder as they succeeded.\r\n\r\nTo encourage responsibility and further develop their critical thinking, we made it a rule that they had to return each puzzle to its original state for the next person, which added another layer of challenge.\r\n\r\nIt was amazing to witness their grit and perseverance; some students wouldn't give up on a difficult puzzle until they \"got\" it, with a few even taking puzzles to lunch to continue working on them.\r\n\r\nThere was real energy in the room - a friendly competition also emerged, with students challenging each other to see who could solve certain puzzles or who could solve all of them. This led to them helping each other learn how to solve and reset the puzzles. These activities not only boosted their logic and critical thinking skills but also helped with communication and teamwork.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the rope puzzles have proven to be the most difficult. This upcoming year, I plan to focus more on the rope puzzles (for the older students) and use them as a deeper part of our learning. So, having this donation lightens my personal pocket.
