The teacher supplies and printer have already helped us stay organized and prepared for lessons, while also allowing me to create more hands-on activities and engaging materials for students. Having easy access to printed resources has made classroom routines smoother and has helped students feel more confident during independent and group work.\r\n\r\nOne especially memorable moment was when students first saw the Ninja Creami. They were immediately curious and excited about how it would be used in our classroom. We used it as part of a classroom celebration tied to positive behavior and academic growth, and it quickly became something students looked forward to earning together. It created such a positive sense of community, motivation, and teamwork among the class.\r\n\r\nThe students' reactions to all of the new materials were full of gratitude and excitement. Many of them commented on how \"official\" and welcoming the classroom felt with the new supplies and resources. They could tell that people cared enough to support their learning, and that made a meaningful impression on them.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using these resources during collaborative projects, hands-on learning activities, and classroom celebrations connected to goal setting and achievement. We are currently working on lessons that encourage teamwork, responsibility, and creative thinking, and these materials help make those experiences more engaging and accessible for everyone. They are also able to show their thinking with the new whiteboards that they received. \r\n\r\nIn a first-grade classroom, being able to model work in real-time is essential. Before getting this new doc camera, it was difficult for my students to see what I was trying to teach them because our old doc camera was very blurry. Now, I can place any book, worksheet, or math manipulative under the camera, and it is instantly projected in high definition for the entire class to see. The students were incredibly excited the first time I used the new doc camera because the words they were trying to read were so clear!\r\n\r\nThe new whiteboards that we received have been particularly impactful for my struggling learners. The different sized pencils give students an opportunity to pick the one just right for them for the activity. We will do as much of the handwriting books as possible this year, then the books and pencils will go home with students so they can continue to practice their penmanship over the summer.
