There weren't many things in the classroom before we received them. I am really excited to use the states of matter materials after Christmas break. The 2nd grade students really enjoyed having something different to do for indoor recess. I enjoys seeing the students working together to learn how to play the games. It was also great to see them off of chromebooks. I started this project because I feel that students are getting too much screen time now in school. The board games were a great way to get them off of chromebooks and actively engaged with each other. It makes learning fun for them. Because this learning platform is fun students don't realize they are mastering the standard we are working on. I currently dont have an actual science curriculum that I use on my classroom so this was the perfect addition to help me extend the learning.
