Your support provided my students with resources that directly addressed behavioral regulation, functional skills, and learning support, resulting in increased focus, emotional safety, and academic engagement. Once the room was set up for students to visit throughout the day, excitement quickly filled the space. Students were eager to explore and use the items—especially those they had never seen before—approaching each resource with curiosity and enthusiasm. That moment alone reminded me how powerful it is for students to feel seen, valued, and invested in.\r\n\r\nWe are using these new resources daily as part of our 1:1 and small group restorative practices. One particularly meaningful moment occurred during a recent lesson when students worked collaboratively, applying new skills while supporting one another. Students who typically hesitate to participate were eager to engage, explain their thinking, and take ownership of their learning. These materials helped remove barriers and created a learning environment where students felt safe to try, explore, and grow. Your contribution also allowed me to tailor behavioral support more intentionally. I can now meet students where they are by providing support and reinforcement for those ready to further challenge themselves and support for those who need additional ongoing guidance. This has led to stronger focus, improved behavior, and a noticeable increase in student confidence.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these resources will continue to play a central role in upcoming sessions and fostering a stronger connection between behavioral and academic achievement. Students are currently building upon foundational skills and will soon apply what they've learned through deeper exploration, problem-solving, and reflection. The tools you provided will remain a cornerstone of our classroom long after this project, supporting both academic growth and social-emotional development.\r\n\r\nThank you for opening the door to new opportunities for my students. Your kindness and belief in their potential have made a lasting difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your support!","fullyFundedDate":1761925804910,"projectUrl":"project/every-child-deserves-a-reset-building-a/9500416/","projectTitle":"Every Child Deserves a Reset: Building a Restorative Behavior-Intervention Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Harvey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10093585_orig.jpg?crop=880,880,x742,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755664086184","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10093585"},{"teacherId":9871858,"projectId":9509267,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, the addition of headphones in my classroom has made a powerful impact on student learning. Using this hands-on material helped them visualize the process of regrouping, which improved their accuracy and confidence when solving subtraction problems. Students were more engaged during lessons and demonstrated a stronger grasp of place value and number relationships.
