The students could hardly sit still as we opened the devices and their faces lit up with anticipation as they plugged in the keyboards and put on the headphones for the first time. \r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom has been transformed into a creative music lab where every student can actively participate, experiment, and succeed. So many students expressed interest that our very first meeting was filled with eager, smiling faces ready to learn and explore. We began with a Nearpod lesson on composition, where students were introduced to foundational photography techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, symmetry, negative space, and framing.\r\n\r\nAfter our lesson, students had the chance to put their learning into action. They grabbed their cameras and headed out into the school to practice. The joy was unmistakable—students photographed classmates, teachers (caught in the hallways!), nature, and everyday objects through new, creative eyes. They were intentional about applying the techniques they learned, and it was wonderful to see their confidence grow in real time.\r\n\r\nIn our next session, we'll review the photos together and reflect on what they noticed, what worked well, and where they can push their creativity further. Then, we'll move into our next photography skill, lighting, and begin the hands-on learning all over again!\r\n\r\nThank you for helping spark this creativity and curiosity in our students.
