Now every child may have something to mark corrections or areas for revision. \r\n\r\n Our poster paper has helped the students test scores increase with more anchor charts for our skills and sample responses. The students have enjoyed having a more accessible reference in the backdrop of the room. Some have even asked to visit the room for part of their extra-curricular time to study the examples more and ask for clarification on the steps. Families with struggling students have enjoyed getting to take home some of the retired posters for skills that will return with a higher rigor model.\r\n\r\n Ms. Johnson's library is back up and running. The students are running with it and have eagerly filled up our sign-out whiteboard for the thanksgiving break. We're looking forward to an increase in our passed AR tests now that there is a daily access area for students to check-out books. The fourth grade class are learning character traits like responsibility and how to share though the library. \r\n\r\n The adhesives (alien tape, Velcro tape) are making placing and replacing the posters faster. The students classwork scores have been increasing. I attribute this fact in part to the speed in which we can get the posters up with strong and minimal adhesives.\r\n\r\n Thank you so much for supporting our class.","fullyFundedDate":1755698442696,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-library-and-literacy/9543289/","projectTitle":"Classroom Library and Literacy","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10114384_orig.jpg?crop=774,774,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754438710243","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10114384"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_50442","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":200,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":70,"percentWhite":23,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":40.0,"schoolId":50442,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about New Quitman County Elementary Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"New Quitman County Elementary Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/quitman-county-school-district/new-quitman-co-elementary-middle-school/50442"}
