However, we live in a rural area where the access to technology and the students' experience with it is very limited and sometimes non-existent. They love solving problems, creating original projects, and exploring the world, and the two iPads that I was able to purchase from the Donors Choose project have provided multiple ways for them to go beyond the classroom to do that.\r\n\r\nSo far, the iPads have aided my 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade gifted students in their research, creativity, and collaboration. One of their favorite ways to use them is with our Dash and Dot robots (acquired from a previous Donors Choose project). The Dash and Dot apps that are used on the iPads help them to practice coding, problem solving, and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nWe have also utilized the iPads to create multi-media presentations and experience interactive models that were not available to us before.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting my students in this way.","fullyFundedDate":1759978336448,"projectUrl":"project/tech-tools-for-tomorrows-innovators/9751979/","projectTitle":"Tech Tools for Tomorrow's Innovators","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Burrell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2672358_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1464103322700","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sburrell"},{"teacherId":9915189,"projectId":9361974,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous contributions and support, our counseling office has been able to purchase new items that make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our students.
