As a computer science teacher, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to enhance my classroom with new resources that would benefit my students and support their learning. The grant has made a significant impact on our classroom environment, and I am excited to share with you the ways in which we are utilizing the new materials.\r\n\r\nOne of the most significant purchases I made with the grant was a new rolling whiteboard. This has been a game-changer for our classroom, as it allows me to work with students in smaller groups and facilitate more collaborative learning experiences. The whiteboard is lightweight and easy to move, which means that I can quickly reconfigure the classroom to accommodate different group sizes and activities. My students have been thrilled with the new whiteboard, and it has already become an integral part of our daily lessons.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the whiteboard, I also purchased a mini-vacuum to help keep our keyboards clean. As you can imagine, keyboards can be a breeding ground for dust, dirt, and other debris, which can be frustrating for students and make it difficult for them to focus on their work. The mini-vacuum has been a simple but effective solution to this problem, and my students are now able to work in a cleaner and healthier environment.\r\n\r\nAs a music technology teacher, I was also able to purchase some essential consumables, such as guitar strings and drum sticks. These materials have been a welcome addition to our music classes, and my students are excited to have the opportunity to work with new and high-quality equipment. The guitar strings, in particular, have been a hit with my students, who are now able to play with a clearer and more resonant sound.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were thrilled. They were excited to explore the new whiteboard and start using it for group projects and activities. They were also impressed by the mini-vacuum, which they thought was a clever and practical solution to keeping our keyboards clean. As for the music consumables, they were eager to get started with the new guitar strings and drum sticks, and they quickly set to work on their latest music projects.\r\n\r\nI want to thank you again for your generous support of our classroom. Your contribution has made a significant difference in the quality of our educational experience, and we are all grateful for your investment in our learning. I hope that you will continue to follow our progress and see the impact that your grant has had on our classroom. We are proud to have you as a part of our educational community, and we look forward to sharing our future successes with you.\r\n\r\nIn closing, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your trust in our classroom and our educational mission. Your grant has been a catalyst for innovation and creativity in our classroom, and we are excited to see where this new chapter in our educational journey will take us. Thank you again for your support, and we look forward to staying in touch and sharing our future successes with you.","fullyFundedDate":1739121233536,"projectUrl":"project/first-project/9104716/","projectTitle":"First Project","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9919234"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_50212","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1117,"numTeachers":60,"percentFrplEligible":58,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":24,"percentWhite":63,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"18.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":85.7,"schoolId":50212,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Morgan County High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Morgan County High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/morgan-county-charter-school-system/morgan-co-high-school/50212"}
